Bodin's Juris Universi Distributio
For some years, I've been working on a study of Jean Bodin's Juris Universi Distributio, a general outline of law that Bodin wrote most likely when he was transition from a career as a legal academic to a practitioner in the Parlement of Paris. The project started as a textual study (based on a translation prepared by Jason Brown), accompanying my other major study on Bodin. It has evolved into a collection of papers on Bodin's legal theory and Renaissance jurisprudence.

This is a very unusual work, and I am hoping to finish this project soon which will be published by Oxford University Press. I will use this space to record occasional updates and share some previews of the book as it continues to take shape.
